Welcome to kastormed, where we offer a Transparent Film Dressing that is made of a permeable polyurethane film coated with non-latex & hypoallergenic adhesive. It is comfortable, waterproof, transparent, and permeable while allowing the one-way passage of carbon dioxide and excess water vapor. Meanwhile, the transparent film can keep the wound out of external fluids. Our product features a cushiony, comfortable, and extra thin film that is ideal for securing Instruments, Devices, Catheters, Probes, low adherent primary dressings, such as gauze, medication patches, and CGM Sensors. It is also transparent & breathable, making it perfect for tattoo care and promoting faster tattoo wound healing. It is waterproof (splash-proof, not immersion-proof), allowing for quick & short showerproof, but not for a long time direct immersion bath & showerproof. Our transparent film dressing is medical adhesive & latex-free, making it high-elastic to perfectly fit wounds in awkward positions such as the elbow. It is ideal for abrasions, scrapes, cuts, minor burns, post-surgical wounds, small wounds, and tattoo aftercare. It is also great for fixing Instruments, Devices, Catheters, Probes, low adherent primary dressings, like gauze, medication patches, CGM Sensors.

In order to have optimal adhesive & waterproof efficacy, make sure to clean the entire applied area of skin thoroughly & dry completely before applying the transparent film dressing. If you need to clean the skin, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol. To apply, simply remove the back paper from the dressing, position it over the wound site, then remove the frame paper and gently press from the center outward. Remember to secure all ends of the patch that are applied to the skin to prevent water leakage in the shower.

Our Transparent Film Dressing is waterproof and forms a germproof barrier for the wound, allowing for a quick & short showerproof, but not for a long immersion bath. It provides a moist, healing environment and promotes autolytic debridement. The dressing is highly elastic and conformable, making it ideal for partial-thickness wounds with little or no exudate, as well as wounds with necrosis. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing and does not have to be removed when examining the wound. Transparent film dressings are ideal for covering IV sites, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, and second-degree burns.
